כדי לתכנן באופן רציונלי אדג'ובנטים יעילים, פיתחנו תחליב פיקרינג (PNPE) של חומצה פולי-לקטית-קו-גליקולית עם ננו-חלקיקים מיוצבים. ה-PNPE היה בעל רכות ייחודית וממשק הידרופובי למגע תאי רב עוצמה והציע העמסת אנטיגן בעלת תכולה גבוהה, שיפור הזיקה התאית של מערכת ההעברה לתאים המציגים אנטיגן וגרימת הפנמה יעילה של אנטיגנים.
