Met lipiden beladen hepatocyten zijn inherent aan leverregeneratie, maar gaan meestal verloren bij centrifugatie van dichtheidsgradiënt. Hier presenteren we een geoptimaliseerd celisolatieprotocol dat steatotische hepatocyten behoudt, wat representatieve populaties van regenererende hepatocyten oplevert na gedeeltelijke hepatectomie bij muizen.
