Das vorliegende Protokoll veranschaulicht die Verwendung kommerziell erhältlicher Komponenten zur Erzeugung eines stabilen und linearen thermischen Gradienten. Ein solcher Gradient kann dann verwendet werden, um die obere thermische Grenze von Planktonorganismen, insbesondere wirbellosen Larven, zu bestimmen.
