Inductie van parodontitis via een combinatie van ligatuur en lipopolysaccharide-injectie in een rattenmodel

In deze studie wordt een rattenmodel van inductie van parodontitis gepresenteerd via een combinatie van retentieve ligatuur en repetitieve injecties van lipopolysaccharide afgeleid van Porphyromonas gingivalis, gedurende 14 dagen rond de eerste maxillaire kiezen. De ligatie- en LPS-injectietechnieken waren effectief in het induceren van peridontitis, resulterend in alveolair botverlies en ontsteking.
