De technische aspecten van het uitvoeren van LIPS (Luciferase Immunoprecipitatie Systems) worden beschreven. De algemene benadering bestaat uiten chimere genen die coderen voor antigenen gefuseerd met Renilla luciferase (RUC) in zoogdiercellen.
