De mogelijkheid om menselijke neurale stamcellen / precursor cellen (hNSPCs) te manipuleren in vitro het mogelijk maakt om hun bruikbaarheid te onderzoeken als cel transplantatie voor therapeutische doeleinden en voor de menselijke ontwikkeling van het zenuwstelsel te verkennen. Dit protocol bevat een methode voor het kweken en de passage hNSPCs in de hoop van de toenemende reproduceerbaarheid van het menselijk stamcelonderzoek.
