I dyremodellen beskrevet i vår foreliggende arbeid, renset IgG-antistoffer mot en strekning av 200 aminosyrer (aa 757-967) av kollagen VII er injisert gjentatte ganger i mus reproduserende blistering fenotypen samt histo-og immunopathological funksjoner karakteristiske til menneske Epidermolysis bullosa acquisita (EBA)<sup> 1</sup>.
