Denne studie benyttet en multi-brønn-plate mikrofluidsystem, i betydelig grad å øke gjennomstrømningen av celle rullende studier henhold fysiologisk relevant skjærflyt. Gitt viktigheten av celle rulle i det flertrinns celle homing kaskade, og viktigheten av celle homing etter systemisk levering av eksogene populasjoner av celler hos pasienter, har dette systemet potensial som et screening-plattform for å forbedre celle-basert terapi.
