Dendritiske spines af pyramideformede neuroner er de steder, hvor de fleste excitatoriske synapser i pattedyrs hjerne cortex. Denne metode beskriver en 3D-kvantitativ analyse af rygsøjlen morfologier i humane kortikale pyramideformet glutamaterge neuroner afledt af inducerede pluripotente stamceller.
