Bu yazıda phagosomal pH ve alan olarak rasyometrik göstergesi seminaphthorhodafluor (SNARF) -1, ya da S-1 kullanılarak, insan ve fare nötrofillerin sitoplazmik pH'ını ölçmek için basit bir yöntem tarif etmektedir. Bu canlı hücre konfokal floresan mikroskop ve görüntü analizi kullanılarak elde edilir.
