Dette værk beskriver standardiseringen af en metode til opnåelse af rensede kimcellepopulationer fra testikelvæv af forskellige pattedyrsarter. Det er en simpel protokol, der kombinerer mekanisk testis dissociation, farvning med Hoechst-33342 og propidiumiodid og FACS sortering, med brede anvendelser i sammenlignende undersøgelser af reproduktionstoksikologisk biologi.
