Dette manuskript beskriver standardprotokoller til måling af tau hyperphosphorylation, måle tau binding til mikrotubuli og lokalisering af intracellulære tau efter medicinsk behandling. Disse protokoller kan bruges gentagne gange til screening af stoffer eller andre stoffer, der er målrettet tau hyperphosphorylation eller mikrotubulus bindende.
