Denne protokol beskriver den komplette decellularization af menneskelige myokardiet samtidig bevare sin ekstracellulære matrix komponenter. Videreforarbejdning af ekstracellulære matrix resulterer i produktionen af mikropartikler og en cytoprotective selvsamlende hydrogel.
