Vi beskriver ett protokoll för att kirurgiskt exponera och stabilisera den murina submandibular spottkörteln vid intravital bildåtergivning med upprätt intravital mikroskopi. Detta protokoll är lätt att anpassa till andra exokrina körtlar av huvudet och halsen regionen av möss och andra små gnagare.
