Hier beschrijven we een protocol voor het onderzoek naar de prenylation en 5'-Guanosinetrifosfaat (GTP)-laden van Rho GTPase. Dit protocol bestaat uit twee gedetailleerde methoden, namelijk membraan fractionering en een GTPase-linked immunosorbent assay. Het protocol kan worden gebruikt voor het meten van de prenylation en de GTP laden van verschillende andere kleine GTPases.
