In deze studie beschrijven we een gedetailleerd protocol voor het induceren van lever vesiculaire steatose in gedifferentieerde HepaRG cellen met het vetzuur zout natriumoleaat en gebruiken we methoden voor de detectie en kwantificering van lipide accumulatie, inclusief coherente anti-Stokes Raman verstrooiing (AUTO'S) microscopie, cytofluorimetrische analyse, olie rood O kleuring, en qPCR.
