Bu protokol, orogastrik tüp yoluyla CCl4 maruziyeti yoluyla akut karaciğer hasarı (ALI) indükleyen yaygın ve uygulanabilir bir yöntemi tanımlar. CCl4 maruziyeti, karaciğerdeki biyotransformasyonu sırasında reaktif oksijen türlerinin oluşumu yoluyla ALI'yi indükler. Bu yöntem ALI'nin patofizyolojisini analiz etmek ve farklı hepatoprotektif stratejileri incelemek için kullanılır.
