De interactie van genetische gevoeligheid, mucosale immuniteit en intestinale micro-ecologische omgeving is betrokken bij de pathogenese van inflammatoire darmziekte (IBD). In deze studie pasten we fecale microbiota-transplantatie toe op IL-10-deficiënte muizen en onderzochten we de impact ervan op darmontsteking en hartfunctie.
