Een procedure voor de levering van een chemische ablatieve oplossing aan de borstkanaalboom van de rat voor beeldgeleide preventieve behandeling van borstkanker wordt beschreven. Borstepitheelcellen kunnen worden gericht met minimale collaterale weefselschade door cannulatie rechtstreeks in de tepelopening en intraductale infusie van een 70% op ethanol gebaseerde ablatieve oplossing.
