Her præsenterer vi en protokol for signifikant at reducere mitokondrie-DNA-kopinumrene i en bovin oocyt (P < 0,0001). Denne metode anvender centrifugering og bisektion til væsentligt at reducere oocyt mitokondrier og kan give mulighed for en øget chance for udvikling i de rekonstruerede interspecies somatiske celle nukleare overførselsembryoner.
