Delgado*1, Carmen Mariana Sierra*1, Abraham Arzola1, Erick Benjamin Saldes1, Kyung-An Han1, Paul Rafael Sabandal1 1Department of Biological Sciences, University of Texas at El Paso The Flypub assay measures the behaviors that the fruit fly Drosophila melanogaster displays under the influence of ethanol. The assay can be readily mastered by experimenters at all levels and applied to various vaporized stimuli, facilitating substance abuse and addiction studies. Eng., University of Texas at El Paso We present a method for collecting electrocorticographic signals for research purposes from humans who are undergoing invasive epilepsy monitoring. We show how to use the BCI2000 software platform for data collection, signal processing and stimulus presentation. Specifically, we demonstrate SIGFRIED, a BCI2000-based tool for real-time functional brain mapping.
