We presenteren de procedures aan te tonen dat liganden binden aan het oppervlak membraan van de protozoa cellulose verterende protozoa in de darm van de Formosan ondergrondse termieten met behulp van fluorescentie microscopie en dat liganden gekoppeld aan lytische peptiden kill deze<em> In vitro</em> (Anaërobe protozoa cultuur) en<em> In vivo</em> (Injectie in de termiet einddarm).
