Em newt, a lente regenera sempre a partir da íris dorsal pela transdiferenciação das células epiteliais pigmentadas da íris (EPIs). Aqui nós descrevemos um procedimento para células de cultura dorsal e ventral newt IPE e sua implantação para o olho newt. As células são então implantados estudado por corte de tecido e imuno-histoquímica.
