Een methode wordt beschreven om enkele cellen met een gekooide fluorescerend eiwit met behulp van twee-foton absorptie van een Ti photoactivate: Sapphire femtoseconde laser oscillator. Het lot kaart brengen van de gefotoactiveerd cel, wordt immunohistochemie gebruikt. Deze techniek kan worden toegepast op elk celtype.
