Vi har udviklet en ny teknik til at kvantificere nicotinacetylcholinreceptorneurotransmission ændringer inden for subcellulære regioner af specifikke undertyper af CNS-neuroner til bedre at forstå mekanismerne i nikotintrangen ved hjælp af en kombination af metoder, herunder fluorescerende protein tagging af receptoren ved hjælp af knock-in tilgang og spektral konfokal billeddannelse.
