Microfluïdische stromingskamers geëtst door fotolithografie en vervaardigd uit PDMS worden toegepast op functionele resultaten in verband met EG-dysfunctie en ontsteking te onderzoeken. In een representatief experiment het vermogen van differentiële schuifspanning moduleren monocyte celhechting aan cytokine geactiveerd EC monolagen wordt aangetoond.
