Electrospun stillasene kan behandles etter produksjon for tissue engineering applikasjoner. Her beskriver vi metoder for å spinne komplekse stillasene (med påfølgende sentrifugering), for å lage tykkere stillasene (av multi-lagene ved hjelp av varme eller damp annealing), for å oppnå sterilitet (aseptisk produksjon eller sterilisering post produksjon) og for å oppnå hensiktsmessige biomekaniske egenskaper.
