La communauté bactérienne active associée à l'intestin de Spodoptera, a été déterminée par des isotopes stables-sondage (SIP) couplé à pyroséquençage. En utilisant cette méthodologie, l'identification des espèces de bactéries métaboliquement actives au sein de la communauté a été fait avec une haute résolution et de précision.
