Un enfoque bioquímico se describe para identificar in vivo interacciones proteína-proteína (PPI) de proteínas de membrana. El método combina la reticulación de proteínas, purificación por afinidad y espectrometría de masas, y es adaptable a casi cualquier tipo de célula u organismo. Con este enfoque, incluso la identificación de los IBP transitorios se hace posible.
