We hebben een microfluïdisch platform ontwikkeld voor snelle antibioticagevoeligheidstests. Vloeistof wordt met hoge snelheden doorgegeven over bacteriën die op de bodem van een microfluïdisch kanaal zijn geïmmobiliseerd. In aanwezigheid van stress en antibiotica sterven gevoelige bacteriestammen snel af. Resistente bacteriën kunnen deze stressvolle omstandigheden echter overleven.
