Flaskhalsen för cellulära 3D elektronmikroskopi är feature extraction (segmentering) i mycket komplexa 3D densitetskartor. Vi har utvecklat ett antal kriterier, som ger vägledning om vilka segmente strategi (manuell, halvautomatisk eller automatisk) lämpar sig bäst för olika datatyper, vilket ger en utgångspunkt för effektiv segmentering.
