Enterobacter सपा. YSU ग्लूकोज न्यूनतम लवण माध्यम में होती है. Auxotrophs बेतरतीब ढंग से मेजबान जीनोम में ही सम्मिलित करता है जो एक transposome साथ यह बदलने से उत्पन्न कर रहे हैं. म्यूटेंट न्यूनतम मध्यम करने के लिए जटिल मध्यम से प्रतिकृति चढ़ाना से पाए जाते हैं. बाधित जीन जीन बचाव और अनुक्रमण द्वारा पहचाने जाते हैं.
