Her presenterer vi en protokoll for å forplante Homalodisca vitripennis celler og HoCV-1 in vitro. Medium ble fjernet fra HoCV-1 positive kulturer og RNA ekstrahert hver 24. time i 168 timer. Cell overlevelsesevne ble kvantifisert ved trypanblått farging. Hele viruspartikler ble ekstrahert etter infeksjon. Ekstrahert RNA ble kvantifisert ved QRT-PCR.
