Generatie van geïnduceerde pluripotente stamcellen biedt fascinerende perspectieven voor de afleiding van autologe transplantaties. Echter, de progressie door middel van een pluripotente toestand en moeizaam re-differentiatie nog belemmert klinische vertaling. Hier beschrijven we de afleiding van volwassen humane fibroblasten en hun directe omzetting in geïnduceerde neurale progenitor cellen en de daaropvolgende differentiatie tot neuronale lijnen.
