Dit werk beschrijft een nanoimprinting lithografie methode om kwalitatief hoogwaardige sensing matrices die op het principe van buitengewone optische transmissie werken. De biosensor is lage kosten, robuust, makkelijk te gebruiken, en kan detecteren cardiale troponine ik in serum op klinisch relevante concentraties (99th percentiel cutoff ∼10-400 pg/mL, afhankelijk van de test).
