Wij presenteren protocollen voor de toepassing van onze genetisch gecodeerde calciumindicator (GECI) CatchER + voor het monitoren van snelle calcium transiënten in het endoplasmatische / sarcoplasmatische reticulum (ER / SR) van HEK293 en skeletspier C2C12 cellen met behulp van real-time fluorescentiemicroscopie. Een protocol voor de in-situ K d meting en kalibratie wordt ook besproken.
