A sinalização do receptor Toll-like (TLR) desempenha um papel importante na fisiopatologia de muitas doenças inflamatórias humanas, e a regulação das respostas de TLR por nanopartículas bioativas é antecipada para ser benéfica em muitas condições inflamatórias. As células repórter baseadas em células THP-1 fornecem uma plataforma de triagem versátil e robusta para identificar novos inibidores da sinalização TLR.
