QA-1 (HLA-E in mens) behoort tot een groep van niet-klassieke grote histocompatibility complex 1b moleculen. Immunisatie met QA--1-bindende epitopes heeft aangetoond dat weefsel-specifieke immuunregulatie vergroten en verbeteren van verschillende auto-immuunziekten. Hierin beschrijven we een overlappende peptide bibliotheek strategie voor de identificatie van QA--1 epitopes in een eiwit.
