De beschreven protocollen toestaan de bouw, karakterisering en selectie (tegen het doelwit) van een bibliotheek van de "domainome" gemaakt van elke bron van DNA. Dit wordt bereikt door een onderzoek-pijpleiding dat verschillende technologieën combineert: faag display, een opvouwbare verslaggever en de volgende generatie sequencing met een web-tool voor data-analyse.
