De protokoll som beskrivs kan konstruktion, karakterisering och urval (mot målet för val) av ett ”domainome” bibliotek från någon DNA-källa. Detta uppnås genom en forskning pipeline som kombinerar olika tekniker: phage display, fällbara reporter och nästa generations sekvensering med en webb-verktyg för dataanalys.
