Vi rapporterer detaljerte prosedyrer for komprimering eksperimenter på steiner og mineral aggregat i en multi ambolten deformasjon apparater kombinert med synchrotron x-stråling. Slike eksperimenter kan kvantifisering av stress distribusjonen i prøvene, som til slutt kaster lys på komprimering prosesser i geomaterials.
