Dit manuscript beschrijft een protocol om te bestuderen van de antimicrobiële werking van 5-aminolevulinic zuur-gemedieerde Fotodynamische therapie (PDT-ALA) op een biofilm Staphylococcus aureus . Dit protocol kan worden gebruikt om een in vitro model om te bestuderen van de behandeling van bacteriële biofilms met PDT in de toekomst te ontwikkelen.
