Detta manuskript beskriver ett protokoll för att studera den antimikrobiella effekten av 5-aminolevulinsyra syra-medierad fotodynamisk terapi (ALA-PDT) på en Staphylococcus aureus biofilm. Detta protokoll kan användas för att utveckla en in vitro- modell för att studera behandling av bakteriell biofilm med PDT i framtiden.
