Här presenterar vi ett protokoll för att mäta virulens hos plankton eller surface-anslutna bakterier använda D. discoideum (amöba) som värd. Virulens mäts över en period på 1 h och värd döda kvantifieras med hjälp av fluorescence mikroskopi och bild analys. Vi visar detta protokoll som använder bakterien P. aeruginosa.
