Vi præsenterer her, en protokol for in vivo validering af hydrogel-baserede celleterapi, illustreret ved eksemplet med islet transplantation. h-Omental Matrix Islet påfyldning (hOMING) implantation tillader implantation af en celle-hydrogel blanding mellem de omental lag, tæt på blodkarrene til at maksimere engraftment i en ordentlig metaboliske miljø.
