Hier presenteren we een protocol om te infecteren primaire menselijke dermale fibroblast met MCPyV. Het protocol bevat Isolatievan dermale fibroblasten, voorbereiding van MCPyV virionen, virusbesmetting, immunofluorescentie kleuring en fluorescentie in situ hybridisatie. Dit protocol kan worden uitgebreid voor het karakteriseren van MCPyV-gastheer interacties en het ontdekken van andere celtypes ze door MCPyV.
