We presenteren een protocol om de balans te evalueren tussen glutamaatafgifte en klaring bij enkele corticostriatale glutamatge synapsen in acute plakjes van volwassen muizen. Dit protocol maakt gebruik van de fluorescerende sensor iGluu voor glutamaat detectie, een sCMOS camera voor signaal verwerving en een apparaat voor brandpuntslaser verlichting.
