Dit artikel presenteert een protocol van differentiële-snelheid centrifugeren in combinatie met dichtheidsgradiënt centrifugeren te scheiden mitochondriën van menselijke ovariële kanker weefsels en controle ovariële weefsels voor kwantitatieve proteomica analyse, resulterend in een hoge kwaliteit mitochondriale monster en hoge doorvoer en hoge reproduceerbaarheid kwantitatieve proteomica analyse van een menselijke ovariële kanker mitochondriale proteome.
