Vi beskriver også to separate metoder til påvisning og kvantificering af exopolysaccharid alginat produceret af P. aeruginosa ved hjælp af en traditionel uroonsyre carbazole assay og en alginat-specifik monoklonal antistof (mAb) baseret ELISA.
