Dubbel in utero elektroporatie maakt het richten van celpopulaties die ruimtelijk en tijdelijk gescheiden. Deze techniek is nuttig om interacties tussen die celpopulaties te visualiseren met behulp van fluorescerende eiwitten in normale omstandigheden, maar ook na functionele experimenten om genen van belang te verstoren.
